The aim of The Archaelogical Society is to discover, interpret and preserve as much archaeological and historical evidence about the area in which we live. As such we give our full support to the independent Maidenhead Heritage Centre.

The Society holds interesting lectures on archaeological and historical subjects on the last Wednesday of each month at the WRVS Centre, York Road, Maidenhead, and during the summer months daylong coach outings are run to places of archaeological and historical interest.
