Art on the Street is an exciting initiative to organise fine art markets in Maidenhead High Street that began in December 2009 and has quickly become one of the most popular events that Maidenhead has to offer and one of the best-visited art events in Berkshire.
Art on the Street is run by local volunteers with a passion for the arts and has the following aims:
• Provide affordable, high-profile exhibition space to support artists
• Bring art to the general public in an easily accessible and welcoming atmosphere
• Use local artistic talent to bring a sense of community and new life to the town centre
We recently became a Community Interest Company. With this comes a long-term commitment to bringing fine art to Maidenhead and attracting art-loving visitors from far and wide.
