Founded 30 years ago, Cantorum Choir is a committed and lively chamber choir based in Cookham and numbering about 35 singers. We give four concerts per year, including at least one with orchestral accompaniment. We aim to promote the enjoyment of choral music by performing varied programmes to a high standard and we are sometimes able to donate proceeds of concerts to charities. The choir is also known for its lively social life including post-concert parties, barbecues and concert tours.

We generally have eight rehearsals for each concert and meet on Mondays and Friday for 4 weeks before each concert. We have recently introduced workshop days to kick off each series of rehearsals.
