Maidenhead Festival of Music, Dance and Speech
The Festival's aim is to advance the education of the public in the Arts of Music, Dance and Speech. It is run by a committee of 7 members (though is keen to increase this number), and holds an annual competitive festival over two weeks in October and November.
During the Festival, children and adults have the opportunity to be individually adjudicated on their performances. Now in its 44th year, the Festival has up to 1000 entrants every year and provides a feast of entertainment at the town's Desborough Suite (Dance Festival) and Norden Farm Centre for the Arts (Music Festival).
It is a wonderful showcase for local and regional talent. The Festival is affiliated to the British and International Festivals of Music, Dance and Speech.
