High Street Methodist Church
High Street Methodist Church is to be found on the corner of High Street and King Street, just by the ‘Boy and the Boat’ statue. As part of its Christian witness to the town the Church and its ancillary buildings are frequently the venues for a wide range of artistic events, some organized by the church itself as well as others presented by local arts organizations.
Recent events have included choral and instrumental concerts, art and photography exhibitions and an acclaimed flower festival, as well as free film shows, some especially for younger folk.
