Maidenhead
Folk Dance Club

We are a group who meet to have fun.

We enjoy dancing in the English or American style of country dancing. Dances can be from 1600 up to the present day. All dances are “called” (the movements walked through before the music starts and then reminded as we dance). The callers are in charge of an evening and either bring CDs or use our local band or bring their own. We break for tea, coffee, squash and biscuits in the middle (also to pay weekly subs). Laughter is a great part of the evening. 8.00 to 8.15 there is coaching available in the hall from Judith and Alan.
