Maidenhead National Trust Association
Maidenhead Association was founded in 1985 and currently has 400 members. The area we cover includes Windsor and stretches from Twyford in the west to Taplow in the east. All members of the National Trust oraffiliated National Trust organisations and NT volunteers are welcome to join the association.
Our objectives are to promote the National Trust locally, raise funds in its support and arrange a programme of events and activities to enrich members’ understanding of this work. Our nearest National Trust properties are Cliveden, Hughenden Manor, Greys Court and the open spaces of the Maidenhead and Cookham Commons all of which we have supported by our fundraising. Meetings include talks on a range of heritage subjects and allow members to socialise with like-minded people. At the meetings we also have stalls which sell second-handbooks, jigsaws and home produce.
In return for their subscription members can attend talks at an additional cost of 50p, receive four newsletters a year and receive details of our programme of events, such as day visits and holidays, which have an additional cost.
