Maidenhead University of The Third Age
Maidenhead U3A has, at the present time 495 members. There are over 30 activity groups, run by volunteer group leaders, covering walking, languages, book reading, music, bridge, galleries and museums, and art, etc.
Meetings are held in members’s houses, or in a few cases, in local halls.
The committee meets once monthly.
There is a varied programme of outings - usually about six yearly, which are, almost without exception, fully booked.
The monthly meetings for members have visiting speakers who talk on a variety of topics.
