Voices Anon
Voices Anon a choir of mixed ability was formed in 1995 in Maidenhead and now numbers around 100 male and female singers. Its aim is to introduce adults of all ages to the skills, techniques, and fun of choral singing.
Under the direction of Guy Bunce members extend their musical knowledge, improve vocal skills, and sing for their own enjoyment.
Voices Anon members benefit from:
- Weekly rehearsals
- Two concerts a year
- Social activities
Participation in the ‘Concert from Scratch’ singing Handel’s Messiah at the Royal Albert Hall each December is a regular feature of the calendar. Occasionally members get together and attend local singing workshops. Several members sing with other choirs or take part in local shows. As a sociable group we also meet together for our Christmas Dinner and Summer Barbeque.
The choir needs tenors and some bass voices but is currently closed to sopranos and altos. We do not audition and your first visit is free. So give John Holton a call on 01628 639592 and introduce yourself.
