Voices Anon

Voices Anon is a choir of mixed ability based in Maidenhead. The choir was formed in 1995 by a small group who simply wanted to enjoy the art of singing and it now has a membership of 90 female and male singers. The aim of the choir is to introduce adults of all ages to the skills, techniques and fun of choral singing. Members improve their vocal skills, extend their musical knowledge and sing for their own enjoyment under the leadership of their professional Musical Director, Dr Guy Bunce.

The choir meets on a Thursday evening between 7.45 and 9.45pm. Our current rehearsal venue is Tippets Hall, St Pirans School, Gringer Hill. SL6 7LZ

We do make a charge for membership which is reviewed each term. This covers the cost of hiring Tippets Hall, music, a pianist and the remuneration for the Musical Director. We rehearse during three terms throughout the year:
Winter Term September to December
Spring Term January to Easter
Summer Term Easter to July

The charge for the current term is £45 which is required at  the beginning of each term.  If members take a term off we ask for half the normal fee to retain their membership.  This is imposed because we do have a waiting list.

At the end of the winter and summer terms we traditionally hold a concert.  No charge is made for entry but a collection is made and donated to a local charity.
