Tæppa's Tump Morris Dancers

Tæppa's Tump North West ladies Morris dance team was formed in January 1981. The North West style of Morris dancing has its roots in the industrial towns of the North West of England. When not out dancing we practise on Tuesday evenings from 8.00pm to 10.00pm at Furze Platt Memorial Hall, Furze Platt Road, Maidenhead, SL6 7NG. We hold free taster evenings from September onwards, so any ladies who are interested can come along and give Morris dancing a try as it is a lot of fun, you can make new friends, and keep fit at the same time. We are a very friendly group who will welcome you with open arms!!. Musicians of either sex are also welcome to join our band, although we do not have the expertise to teach an instrument, but happy to help if needed. If you are interested and would like to know more about our group, please feel free to contact us.
