Hindu Society of Maidenhead

Hindu Society of Maidenhead is a young (seven years old) charitable organisation and we meet once a month (normally on first Sunday of the month) for prayers, celebration of festivals and social interaction.

We meet at The Tippet Hall, St Piran's School, Gringer Hill, Maidenhead SL6 7LZ, between 10.30am and 1.30pm. A typical function consists of about an hour of prayers and is followed by either a talk/celebration of recent Hindu festival/children's programme/entertainment. We finish off by having vegetatian lunch. We are very active in the local interfaith movement (Windsor and Maidenhead Community Forum) with the aim of promoting understanding and breaking down barriers between different communities.
