    Description

Hindu Society of Maidenhead is a young (seven years old) charitable organisation and we meet once a month (normally on first Sunday of the month) for prayers, celebration of festivals and social interaction.

We meet at The Tippet Hall, St Piran's School, between 10.30am and 1.30pm. A typical function consists of about an hour of prayers and is followed by either a talk/celebration of recent Hindu festival/children's programme/entertainment. We finish off by having vegetarian lunch.

We are very active in the local interfaith movement (Windsor and Maidenhead Community Forum) with the aim of promoting understanding and breaking down barriers between different communities.

Regular Meetings: First Sunday of each month (10.30 to 2.00pm)

At: The Tippet Hall - St Piran's School

    Annual Subscription: £3

    Membership Year: 1st June
