Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead Theatre Company are a local amateur musical theatre society who perform two to three musicals a year in and around the Maidenhead area.

Slough and District Operatic Society formed in 1953 and performed at the Adelphi and then the Planet Theatre.  As our membership expanded, we also performed at venues in Windsor and Maidenhead including The Desborough Suite, Norden Farm Arts Centre, Windsor Arts Centre and the Farrer Theatre, and changed the society's name to reflect this.

Attracting members from all over the East Berkshire area, we are a friendly and sociable group who produce some excellent theatre, often looking to the newer side of musical theatre, those shows that are more risky and exciting for our members and recently several local amateur premieres of shows in this area. We have high production standards, having recently won NODA (National Operatic and Dramatic Association) awards. We always welcome new members who seem to fit in very quickly and are always looking for new members of any age both on stage, backstage crew and as part of the creative team.

Some of our most recent productions include Jekyll and Hyde,Children of Eden, Chess, Sweeney Todd,Our House: The Madness Musical and Bad Girls. We are currently in rehearsal for the local premiere of The Producers, to be performed at The Theatre Royal, Windsor, Tuesday 26 - Saturday 30 July 2011
