    Description

Maidenhead Musical Comedy Society (MMCS) was formed on 15th November 1966 by Betty and Roy Gaunt and Eric Wimpenny. The first show was presented in the Desborough Suite, Maidenhead in 1967. Over the years we have performed a whole host of amateur musical productions including South Pacific, Chicago, Cabaret, Calamity Jane, 42nd Street, Anything Goes, Crazy For You, The Producers, Whistle down the Wind and much more!

We perform two musicals a year at the Desborough Theatre, Maidenhead Town Hall, (usually April and October) and through the reputation which the society has, attract a vast audience and support.

We rehearse on Tuesdays in Maidenhead and Wednesdays in Taplow. Closer to show week we usually rehearse on Sundays.
